Overview

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Community Manager for a 104-unit, 100% tax credit multifamily community in Gilroy, California. The role involves overseeing property operations, fostering a positive community environment, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all program requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee overall property performance and ensure compliance with program requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of community transactions and submit timely reports
  • Prepare annual budgets and income projections
  • Ensure timely collection of rents and late fees
  • Manage vendor and contractor communications
  • Implement effective leasing strategies to maximize occupancy
  • Conduct quarterly resident meetings and address resident concerns
  • Administer personnel management tasks including hiring and training
  • Ensure timely maintenance and community appearance
  • Comply with safety regulations and enforce safety practices

Required skills

  • 2-3 years experience as Community Manager of a tax credit property
  • Experience in affordable housing and supportive housing programs
  • Proficiency in property management software, particularly Yardi
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Knowledge of California landlord/tenant law and OSHA regulations
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Hourly pay range of $28.00 - $31.00
  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week), Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
