Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse portfolio of complex litigation matters and commercial matters across a wide range of industries. The successful candidate will manage disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, real estate and construction litigation, employment-related business disputes, and other complex commercial controversies.The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in litigation procedures, legal research, strategic case management and negotiation, with a passion for advocating on behalf of clients across various industries. Duties Manage and lead all phases of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation Handle disputes involving commercial contracts, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, construction, real estate, banking and finance, and commercial collections Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, settlement agreements, commercial leases, memoranda with precision and clarity Develop litigation strategies by analyzing facts, statutes, regulations, case law, and procedural rules to achieve favorable outcomes Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions while protecting client interests Collaborate with clients, outside counsel, experts, and internal stakeholders to develop practical business-focused legal solutions Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, coordinating witnesses and experts, drafting trial briefs, and representing clients confidently in court proceedings Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required Proven experience in general & commercial litigation with a strong understanding of procedural law and legal case management systems Demonstrated expertise in legal drafting-including contracts-and effective legal writing skills Experience handling matters involving commercial contracts, business organizations, real estate, construction, banking and finance, insurance, employment, commercial collections, and other business-related disputes Strong negotiation, mediation and advocacy skills with the ability to represent clients effectively in settlement discussions, arbitrations and litigation Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas Excellent research skills combined with the ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and accurately Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously Prior experience working in a law office environment; familiarity with legal motion preparation and procedural rules is essentialJoin our team to leverage your litigation expertise across a broad spectrum of commercial practice areas while making a meaningful impact through strategic advocacy. xibtplm We value energetic professionals who thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to delivering exceptional client service.Pay: $74,732.80 - $90,000.80 per yearBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistanceWork Location: In person
