Anvil Edge Electric is seeking a Commercial Electrical Journeyman to join their team in Whippany, New Jersey. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and NEC standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and schematics
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and install panels, breakers, and lighting
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, safety regulations, and job specifications
  • Work independently or as part of a small crew
  • Provide guidance to apprentices and helpers on-site
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
