Overview

Gateway First Bank is seeking a Commercial & Consumer Loan Operations Specialist I to join their team in Bixby, Oklahoma. The role focuses on processing exceptions and daily reports within loan operations, requiring prior banking industry experience and a strong understanding of loan document preparation and review.

Key responsibilities

  • Process cleared exceptions and image exception documents for loans
  • Handle paid out Processing, FHLB processing, Mail Processing, and CRA Processing
  • File, release, and image real estate or lien perfecting documents
  • Serve as second reviewer on maintenance reports
  • Maintain and track pending loan exceptions through FIS Imaging Center
  • Monitor loan exception inbox and review documents for integrity
  • Scan exception documents to maintain customer files
  • Verify quality of scanned documents and resolve rejected batches
  • Report suspicious activity to BSA department
  • Perform job functions in compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Required skills

  • Basic knowledge of loan and financial documents
  • Understanding of city, county, and state filing requirements
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 0-2 years of experience in Loan Operations
  • Experience with electronic imaging systems preferred
