Overview

National Scouting Report Inc is seeking a College Softball Scout to evaluate and guide softball athletes in their recruiting journeys. This role is crucial as it requires on-field evaluations, relationship building, and communication with student-athletes and their families, all while representing a respected brand in college recruiting.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate prospective softball student-athletes at showcases, tournaments, and local events
  • Conduct interviews with athletes and families to assess athletic, academic, and recruiting readiness
  • Enroll qualified athletes into appropriate NSR recruiting programs
  • Build relationships with high school and travel ball coaches, trainers, and softball organizations
  • Collaborate with NSR's internal recruiting and evaluation teams
  • Maintain accurate records and reports within NSR systems
  • Represent NSR professionally at events and in the community
