Come be part of a winning team that feels like family.Your Role on Our Team:Looking for agile CNC Programmer to work in a production tool room environment. Duties will be varied but will include fixture development, spare parts machining, stamping die and plastic mold work.You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:Set up and operate multiple CNC and manual machining equipment and workstationsWrite and install CNC programs for machining applicationsMake offsets and adjustments as requiredIndependently produce samples and first run piecesDetermine best approach and layout sequence of operations required for each jobUse all shop equipmentSet-up and operation of manual and CNC machinesMachine material to very close fits and tolerancesComplete routine equipment and product inspections and complete required documentationInvestigate and efficiently assist with diagnosis and resolution of equipment and quality problems, production delays or stoppagesParticipate in performing root cause analysis and assist with implementing the best solutionTroubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairsPerform preventative maintenance responsibilitiesParticipate in updates of preventative maintenance schedulesProvide feedback to Maintenance and Facilitator as neededAdhere to all safety requirements in the work areaPractice 5SsPerforms other duties as assigned.The TOOLS you'll bring with you:Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprintsAdvanced math skillsAbility to use standard measuring devices such as calipers, micrometer, height stand, gage pins and blocksCam software experience or certificateKnowledge and use of G and M coding3D Modeling skills in Solidworks a plusAbility to interpret technical data accurately including engineering drawings and schematicsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsBasic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentTechnical certification in a mechanical, electrical automation or related program or equivalent combination of education and experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical fieldMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
