Overview

The Clinician at Beacon Specialized Living plays a vital role in delivering behavioral health services to individuals with complex conditions. This position focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients through evidence-based interventions, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective behavior support strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Independently coordinates, designs, and monitors individualized behavior treatment plans.
  • Provides face-to-face clinical services to clients according to assigned practices.
  • Leads crisis response efforts and implements resolution strategies.
  • Conducts root-cause evaluations of incidents and modifies treatment plans accordingly.
  • Serves as a clinical consultant in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Maintains comprehensive clinical documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyzes monthly data sets to monitor progress and adjusts interventions as necessary.
  • Conducts behavioral assessments and develops ongoing training for clinical staff.
  • Communicates with family members and participates in coordination of care.
  • Contributes to performance improvement initiatives in service quality.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Analysis, Counseling or related field
  • Valid state license or certification (BCBA, LCSW, LSW, LPCC, LPC, PBSF)
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Experience with mentally ill and intellectually disabled populations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work independently
