Overview

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist to perform analyses on biological specimens to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. This position requires a commitment of two years and includes operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform analyses on biological specimens such as blood and urine
  • Aid health care providers in diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Participate in operational support activities
  • Maintain and optimize testing capabilities

Required skills

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time wisely
  • Willingness to travel to other locations as needed
  • Basic Life Support certification may be required
  • Limited X-Ray Machine Operator certification may be required
