We handle family law, civil litigation, consumer protection, and related matters. Clients are people going through some of the most difficult chapters of their lives, and you will be the first human voice many of them hear.We want to be known for helping people feel heard, supported, and confident from the very first phone call. This role is critical. You are often the person who sets the tone for the entire client experience.This position is not a legal role. You will not provide legal advice. You will guide potential clients through our process, answer questions about next steps, and help the firm connect with the right clients. You can discuss the workflow in general, help clients describe their situation, and quote fees that have been set by an attorney. You cannot give legal advice, set a case strategy, or finalize engagements without attorney acceptance.We love people who take ownership, follow through, and understand that speed, clarity, and empathy matter. This is a role for someone who is comfortable with accountability, metrics, and results, and who genuinely enjoys helping people say "yes" to moving forward.If these statements appeal to you, you may be our Champion:You genuinely enjoy talking to people and building rapport.You smile when you answer the phone, and people can hear it.You understand the difference between listening and waiting to talk.You are persistent without being pushy.You follow up when others forget.You are organized and can track conversations, next steps, and details without letting anything slip through the cracks.You are comfortable with scheduling, calendars, CRMs, and basic technology.You can handle emotional conversations with professionalism and calm.Your middle name is "No Drama."You understand that how someone feels after a call matters just as much as what was said.You do not think data entry or follow-up calls are "beneath you" because you know that is where deals are won and relationships are built.Compensation:$23 - $26 hour base salary + generous merit based bonusResponsibilities:What You Will DoConduct sales conversations with prospective new clients (PNCs) to help them understand how the firm can help and to sell legal servicesPresent the cost of services (fees pre-determined by an attorney), answer questions about the process, and ask for the commitmentHandle objections with empathy and confidence, not pressureCreate contracts and accept payment (help clients with financing if necessary), then coordinate with the attorney for acceptanceConduct 2nd, 3rd, and 4th follow-up calls to close the loop with PNCs who did not hire the firm during their initial conversationFollow up on all outstanding electronic and mailed contracts that have not been signed and paidOversee client onboarding & offboardingTrack and maintain data while preparing metrics and reports for the owner on lead conversion rates, referral sources, cost of acquisition, and other key performance indicatorsQualifications:Who You Are1+ years of experience in sales, client services, intake, or a client-facing role (legal industry experience is a plus, not required)Comfortable making outbound calls, following up persistently, and asking for the saleStrong communicator who can interact professionally and empathetically with people going through difficult life transitionsOrganized and detail-orientedComfortable with CRMs, case management software, spreadsheets, and basic technologySelf-motivated: you see w
