Overview

Lane Enterprises Inc is seeking a Clerk to join their team in Temple, Texas. This role involves providing administrative support, managing customer inquiries, and assisting with various operational tasks within the company. A strong focus on customer service and communication is essential for success in this position.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to plant operation and sales functions
  • Handle telephone contacts and assist with customer inquiries
  • Enter information related to quotations, orders, shipments, and invoices into the ERP system
  • Create purchase orders and prepare packing slips
  • Call customers for directions and schedule drop-offs for drivers
  • Sort incoming mail and prepare UPS shipments
  • Assist in planning and scheduling shipments and customer pick-ups
  • Communicate with yard/truck drivers

Required skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader
  • Skilled in project management and managing multiple projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented with strong customer service skills
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • 2-3 years' administrative or office experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2-3 years' experience in customer service
