Overview

Specialty Sales LLC is seeking a Class A DOT Driver with a Hazmat endorsement to join their growing team. This role involves driving commercial motor vehicles to transport and off-load products while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer) long distances to transport products
  • Report all accidents, safety issues, and customer complaints to supervisor
  • Follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Perform pre & post trip inspections and report any maintenance needs
  • Operate equipment per company guidelines to maximize lifecycle and minimize costs
  • Complete and maintain logs according to DOT and company policy
  • Check vehicle and loading equipment positions for safety
  • Troubleshoot systems and perform basic repairs
  • Assist in other areas of the plant as needed

Required skills

  • Commercial driving experience (Class A)
  • Two years of tanker experience
  • HAZMAT endorsement
  • Understanding of DOT regulations
