Overview

Specialty Sales LLC is seeking a Class A DOT Driver with a Hazmat endorsement to join their growing team. This role involves transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials across various locations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining vehicle integrity.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (tractor-trailer) for long distances to transport products
  • Report accidents, injuries, safety issues, and customer complaints immediately to a supervisor
  • Follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections and report necessary maintenance
  • Complete and submit reports as required by DOT and company policy
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status
  • Maintain professional appearance and uniform

Required skills

  • Valid commercial driver's license (Class A)
  • Hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Two or more years of commercial driving experience
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations
  • Experience with truck maintenance
