Overview

As a Class A CDL Non-Crane Certified Driver at National Trench Safety, you will be responsible for safely delivering and picking up trench-related shoring from customer job sites while adhering to safety regulations. This role requires compliance with DOT and FMCSR guidelines and involves various driving and operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Comply with DOT regulations and conduct vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate electronic driver logs and current driver credentials
  • Secure loads according to DOT and company policies
  • Report accidents and vehicle issues to management
  • Deliver and pick up shoring and plates, occasionally loading and unloading
  • Assemble and disassemble shoring on job sites as required
  • Maintain open communication with branch regarding delivery schedules
  • Assist with yard operations and maintain a safe work environment
  • Provide training assistance to customers on shoring equipment

Required skills
