U.S. Xpress is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Truck Driver for operations based in Salem, Indiana. This role offers home daily routes and an average weekly pay of $1,700 to $1,900, along with a significant sign-on bonus of $7,500. Drivers will handle touch freight and benefit from consistent miles and driver support.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver freight reliably to IL, OH, and IN
  • Operate newer equipment averaging 18 months
  • Handle unloading and loading of freight
  • Work with a motorized pallet jack
  • Adhere to DOT compliance and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service

Required skills

  • CDL-A License
  • Minimum of 3 months verifiable driving experience
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test
  • Familiarity with freight handling and logistics management
