Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers during challenging times by providing them with reassurance and effective solutions. Your primary responsibility will be guiding policyholders through their insurance coverage and the necessary steps to assist them in getting back on the road safely.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties
  • Assist customers in the claims process
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs preferred
  • Active Adjusters license preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented
