Overview

As a Claims Specialist at GEICO, you will play a crucial role in reassuring customers and providing solutions when they need assistance the most. You'll guide policyholders through their coverage and the steps to recover from accidents, contributing to a culture of care and support while making a significant impact within local communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts.
  • Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties.
  • Assist customers in the claims process to get them back on the road.
  • Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions.

Required skills

  • Customer-facing claims experience preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with measurable goals.
  • Active Adjuster's license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and empathy skills.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
