Job Description

Overview

As a Claims Appraiser in Auto Estimatics at State Farm, you will be integral in providing exceptional service to customers while assessing vehicle damage. Working remotely from Honolulu, HI, you will play a key role in the claims process, from gathering information to preparing repair estimates and assisting insured clients with their inquiries.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers
  • Complete initial and supplemental estimates via photos or in person
  • Assist insured clients by explaining coverage and estimating vehicle damage
  • Utilize automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates
  • Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues
  • Evaluate bid content and photo documentation regarding vehicle damage
  • Answer inbound and make outbound calls to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process
