Job Description

Overview

Jobot is seeking a Senior Licensed Architect to fill the role of Civic Project Manager in an established architecture firm focusing on healthcare, federal, civic, and education projects. The successful candidate will manage projects in the Civic market, ensuring compliance with budget, scope, and schedule while leading design teams and coordinating with clients and consultants.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and communicate with subcontractors and vendors for successful project execution
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with the project team
  • Assist senior management in developing and validating project scope, fees, and budgets
  • Consult with clients to determine design requirements and prepare specifications, materials, and timelines
  • Ensure comprehensive communication of project details between clients and project teams
  • Manage projects using Deltek Vantagepoint tools, outlining budgets and schedules
  • Prepare project presentations and lead design development sessions
  • Review compliance of documents with building and accessibility codes
  • Oversee construction document adherence to design intent
  • Initiate and enforce the Quality Assurance Program throughout the project
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with clients
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent education/experience; Master's degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on project management
  • Experience in Commercial, Healthcare, or Government projects
  • Architectural registration required with current license; NCARB registration preferred
  • LEED Green Associate accreditation desired
  • Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle for work-related travel
  • Experience in design-build and developer-driven projects preferred
