Role Overview As a Very Part-Time CFO Advisor, you'll provide high-level strategic financial guidance to our executive team on an as-needed basis, typically 4-8 hours per week. This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired executive who wants to stay engaged in the startup ecosystem without a full-time commitment. You'll leverage your expertise to help us navigate growth challenges, optimize financial operations, and prepare for a successful IPO. Key Responsibilities Offer strategic advice on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support rapid scaling. Guide the team on capital raising strategies, including venture funding rounds and investor relations. Provide insights into IPO readiness, including compliance, governance, and financial reporting best practices. Review and advise on key financial metrics, risk management, and operational efficiencies. Mentor internal finance team members on advanced topics like M&A evaluations or international expansion.
