Summary: The cell lead will help direct day-to-day operations within their assigned cell. They will help to cover employee absences within the cell, ensure employees are utilizing time efficiently, meet daily/weekly goals set, and assist in all training and troubleshooting opportunities. The cell lead will assist in the growth and improvement of our current processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Execute the assigned plan received from the General Manager for daily/weekly goalsAssist in the training of new employeesEnsure the approved build process is followed by the employees while mitigating part issues, and troubleshooting constraintsWorks to improve upon the current processesLeads team by example, motivates and develops team to help meet or exceed production expectations.Help the scheduler maintain a current list of builds on hold due to parts, assisting Drivetrain techs to improve output.Ensures a safe workplace by communicating to management any unsafe acts or conditionsWorks with management to help develop SOP/WICommunicates with maintenance on equipment issuesOther duties determined by managementPreferred Education and Experience:Strong background and knowledge of units being built, ability to finish any unitMinimum of 3 years working in a shop environmentAbility to problem solve and improve upon the current processStrong leadership abilities, able to motivate and inspire a teamKnowledge and Personal Attributes:Must have strong workforce planning skills, be decisive and well-organizedAbility to multitask in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to lead a team by providing direction, coaching, and creating an environment that encourages everyone to work with othersAbility to help continue to develop new and existing talentAbility to listen to others' ideas and create engagementAbility to work independently without directionMust have a great eye for detail and show leadership abilities Works well with other departments including scheduling/warehouse/parts PIdb0ce8fa32a3-1294
