Overview

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL A or B Local Straight Truck Driver in Albany, NY. This role involves making deliveries and working in the warehouse, requiring the ability to lift heavy boxes and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to the company's mission of Respect, Service, and Excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service as a front-line representative
  • Split time between making deliveries and warehouse work
  • Use a moffett forklift to make deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
  • Perform additional duties such as cycle counts and inventory as required

Required skills

  • CDL-B (or A) license
  • Minimum of one year driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Moffett forklift experience (training available)
  • Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck (training available)
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing 80+ pounds
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
