Overview

DN LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter Foreman to join their craft labor team in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. The Carpenter Foreman will oversee production, quality, and safety for liquid storage tank construction projects, providing hands-on support and guidance to ensure successful project completions while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the work of carpenters and laborers in the tank building process
  • Establish crews and assign responsibilities to meet project timelines
  • Read and interpret tank drawings and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Inventory materials upon delivery to ensure compliance with contract drawings
  • Participate in daily closeout meetings with the Superintendent for project updates
  • Follow and uphold quality control programs and report defects
  • Check and confirm elevation grades and plumbness on critical components
  • Promote clean and safe work practices among team members
  • Coach and train apprentices and field personnel for quality workmanship
  • Utilize survey equipment for jobsite layout
  • Maintain certifications in compliance with safety and equipment programs
