Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob TitleCargo Van Owner-Operator - Independent Contractor (1099)Job DescriptionJP's HAULING LLC is seeking reliable Cargo Van Owner-Operators to join our delivery team as independent contractors.This is a contract delivery position for individuals who own or have access to their own cargo van and are looking for consistent delivery work in the North East, Maryland area and surrounding regions.The contractor will be responsible for completing assigned residential delivery routes safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.Compensation:$200 per completed full route$150 per completed split routeContractor is responsible for their own fuel and vehicle-related expenses1099 Independent Contractor positionAdditional compensation may be available for unusually high package volume or extended routesTypical Route:Approximately 40-80 packages per routeApproximately 30-40 residential stopsMost routes can be completed in approximately 3-4 hoursRoutes are expected to be completed within approximately 5-6 hours maximum, depending on package volume and delivery conditionsService area is primarily the North East, MD region, with routes potentially extending toward the Pennsylvania or Delaware lineRequirements:Own or have reliable access to a cargo van - vehicle is NOT providedValid driver's licenseValid vehicle registration and insuranceReliable and dependableAbility to lift and carry packagesSmartphone with reliable GPS/dataAbility to work independently and follow delivery instructionsProfessional appearance and customer serviceMust be able to pass any required background/driving checksWhat We're Looking For:We're looking for dependable owner-operators who take pride in their work, communicate effectively, and can consistently complete their assigned routes. This is a great opportunity for someone who already owns a cargo van and wants to generate additional income through contracted delivery work.Important: This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
