Overview

Lesley University is seeking a Career Services Coordinator to support the Threshold Program in Cambridge, MA. The Coordinator will design and facilitate skill-building workshops, create internship plans, and provide one-on-one advising to students, enhancing their readiness for employment within an inclusive educational framework.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate skill-building workshops aligned with students' needs
  • Create detailed internship plans tailored to industry
  • Place students at internship sites and oversee their development
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and organizations
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and program-wide events
  • Provide one-on-one advising to assigned students each semester

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, special education, business administration, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, integrated employment, or case management
  • Experience working with adults with special needs
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated success using digital technology to achieve program goals
