Overview

Lane Enterprises Inc is looking for a CAD Technician to join their team in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This position requires a skilled individual to prepare fabrication and installation drawings for various structures, particularly underground storage systems, while collaborating with other team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop standard product drawings for internal and external use
  • Prepare and coordinate drawing submittals under the direction of the Sales Representative and/or Engineer
  • Evaluate underground storage system configurations for cost-effective layout
  • Prepare drawings for special projects from concept to fabrication
  • Review engineering drawings prior to release
  • Perform accurate take offs from plans/drawings
  • Assist with quote development
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Lane's products, product information, and specifications
  • Participate actively in CAD workload group

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of CAD design and drafting experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of design and engineering principles
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Associate degree or equivalent
