Overview

The Buyer II at KSARIA Service Corporation is responsible for managing supplier relationships and executing complex procurement activities. This role will lead high-value negotiations and develop category strategies while collaborating with various internal teams to align procurement with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage assigned supplier accounts and execute purchase orders accurately
  • Analyze quotes, costs, and lead times to support purchasing decisions
  • Process procurement requirements from requisition through PO issuance
  • Lead complex sourcing initiatives and high-value supplier negotiations
  • Build and maintain productive supplier relationships
  • Identify and track cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project needs
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior buyers
  • Conduct market analysis and global sourcing evaluations

Required skills

  • 2-8+ years of procurement/buying experience
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate supplier performance data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with multiple priorities
  • Experience with procurement systems implementation or optimization
