Overview

Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S., providing specialty care to pets with skin conditions. The Animal Dermatology Clinic in Richmond is seeking a Building Maintenance Worker to support the clinic's operations and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent relations with clients and pets in the waiting area and exam rooms
  • Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties
  • Exceed client expectations of service
  • Communicate clearly with doctors regarding patient findings
  • Perform cursory examinations of animals
  • Assist with fill prescription and dispense medications
  • Be accountable for the needs of the clinic

Required skills

  • Previous experience or training in a veterinary facility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player willing to learn new techniques
  • Time management and adaptability skills
  • Basic medical-related skills such as phlebotomy and anesthetic monitoring (for LVT applicants)
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Computer and telephone skills
