Overview

The Building Maintenance Worker at DFM Solutions is responsible for overseeing the maintenance management of facility operations, ensuring quality services, and leading a team in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role involves prioritizing assignments, ensuring equipment efficiency, and compliance with safety policies while maintaining customer relationships and employee management.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate maintenance staff and prioritize assignments
  • Supervise staff performance and implement necessary corrective actions
  • Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance of facility equipment
  • Monitor facility costs and manage waste
  • Inspect physical plant routinely for quality standards
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Facilitate customer review and planning meetings
  • Manage staff training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Achieve KPIs and performance indicators

Required skills

  • Associate Degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology or 10 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge of coolant filtration, mist collection, HVAC, and electrical equipment
  • Experience with CMMS, preferably Maximo
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experienced in industrial safety practices
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills
