Overview

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for Building Maintenance Technician positions in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. This role involves working with automated production equipment and focuses on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with various teams to ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on automated production equipment
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance work orders
  • Fabricate minor replacement or repair parts
  • Partner with maintenance team and engineering to support new equipment installations
  • Report safety hazards and provide recommendations for reliability improvements

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in maintenance of automated production equipment
  • Strong mechanical disassembly/reassembly skills
  • Knowledge of industrial control wiring, pneumatics, lubrication, and industrial automation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders
