Job Description

Overview

Jobot is seeking an experienced Bridge Estimator to join their successful Salt Lake City office. As part of a top ENR full-service contractor, this role involves leading the estimation process for complex construction projects, particularly in bridges, while fostering strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the structures estimation process for complex construction projects
  • Utilize expertise in various estimation methodologies to deliver accurate estimates
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate project challenges
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Mentor and guide junior estimators

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimation
  • Experience with heavy structures and bridge projects
  • Proven experience with alternative delivery methods
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
