Overview

Georgetown Hill Early School is seeking a Bilingual PreK Teacher fluent in both English and Spanish to work with preschool children. The ideal candidate will foster independence and a love of learning in a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide age-appropriate educational experiences for preschool children
  • Ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all students
  • Support the physical, socio-emotional, and developmental needs of each child
  • Demonstrate effective leadership among the classroom team
  • Maintain positive communication with children, families, colleagues, and the community
  • Manage the classroom to create a safe and positive learning environment

Required skills

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's Degree for lead teacher or 90 hours certification for assistant teacher
  • 3 or more years of teaching experience
  • Understanding of child development principles and instructional strategies
  • Knowledge of MSDE regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
