Matos Personal Injury Lawyers is seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant to support the firm's growth in providing compassionate legal services. The role involves communication with clients and providers, as well as the organization of vital case evidence, all within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Communicate with providers and team members, and occasionally with clients.
  • Request, track, and follow up on medical records, bills, and itemized statements.
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals in gathering and organizing evidence.
  • Ensure all case files are current, complete, and ready for litigation or settlement.

Required skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple records requests
