Overview

The H&K Group is seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator for their Chalfont Quarry in Pennsylvania. This role involves operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety policies while working collaboratively with site personnel.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow company safety policies and MSHA policies
  • Perform pre and post trip of equipment and complete daily inspection sheets
  • Operate loader and move material as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance on loader
  • Perform all work safely and professionally
  • Take direction and work as part of a team

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating backhoe or heavy equipment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to utilize PPE as needed
  • Physical capability to meet job demands
  • Safety certification (MSHA preferred)
