Overview

The H&K Group is seeking a Backhoe Operator for their Chalfont Quarry in Pennsylvania. This role involves operating heavy machinery, ensuring safety compliance, and performing maintenance tasks while contributing to a team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow company safety policies and MSHA regulations
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections of equipment daily
  • Operate backhoe equipment to move materials effectively
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, such as lubrication and cleaning
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and follow directions
  • Complete all tasks following company policies and procedures

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent or related experience
  • At least one year of backhoe experience or equivalent training
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
