Overview

As an Avionics/Electrical Technician II at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, you will provide technical expertise in testing and troubleshooting aircraft systems. The role requires skilled individuals to ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards while performing electrical component installations and repairs.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft
  • Troubleshoot processes and provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems
  • Ensure all work performed is properly documented and ready for inspection
  • Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability
  • Adapt to sudden schedule changes and fill in for Senior Technicians as needed

Required skills

  • Skilled in aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in reading schematics and performing high-quality electrical repairs
  • Experience with electrical component installation and testing
  • Ability to demonstrate effective repair techniques including soldering and splicing
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in aviation
