Overview

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking an Entry-Level Aviation Assembler to perform complex assembly and installation tasks in Baltimore, MD. The role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a team that values innovation and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform complex assembly and installation operations for major production sub-assemblies
  • Work from blueprints, tool write-ups, and sketches to execute tasks
  • Check and operate minor assembly tools and execute advanced riveting techniques
  • Ensure accurate fitting and adjusting of parts according to specifications
  • Conduct surface preparation for adhesive and sealing compound applications
  • Visually inspect parts to assure proper application of sealant and fit
  • Use precision measuring devices to acquire product acceptance data

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Experience in assembly and manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of riveting techniques
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and adaptability in work assignments
  • Ability to work independently and maintain effective relationships with others
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions
