Duration: 06 months+ Job Description: Role Summary: Client is seeking an experienced AutoSys Platform Engineer to support and maintain a large-scale enterprise AutoSys Workload Automation platform. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, performance, and operational health of the AutoSys environment across on-premises and cloud-hosted deployments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AutoSys platform components, Linux administration, platform troubleshooting, and production support. Key Responsibilities: Platform Administration and Support: Provide L3 support for enterprise AutoSys environments and serve as a technical resource for platform-related issues. Administer and support AutoSys Scheduler, Event Processor, WCC, AutoSys Agents, and related platform components. Manage platform configuration, agent onboarding, environment setup, and operational readiness activities. Support day-to-day platform operations, maintenance, and health monitoring. Troubleshooting and Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve scheduler, agent, job execution, dependency, event processing, and communication issues. Analyze AutoSys logs, agent logs, system logs, and platform diagnostics to identify root causes and restore service. Support production incidents, problem management, and recurring issue remediation. Work with infrastructure, database, network, and application teams to troubleshoot platform-related issues. Platform Maintenance and Lifecycle Management: Perform platform upgrades, patches, fixes, and routine maintenance activities. Support implementation and validation of new AutoSys releases and platform enhancements. Assist with platform performance tuning, capacity planning, and availability improvements. Ensure operational procedures, runbooks, and support documentation remain current. Cloud and Container Platform Support: Support AutoSys deployments hosted in AWS and other cloud environments. Administer and troubleshoot AutoSys agents deployed on cloud infrastructure and container platforms. Assist with migration, deployment, and operational support of cloud-based AutoSys services. Required Skills: 4 plus years of hands-on AutoSys administration and support experience. Experience supporting AutoSys in Linux environments. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Experience with AutoSys upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance. Knowledge of AWS-hosted AutoSys environments and cloud-based agent deployments. Experience with Shell scripting and automation. Strong knowledge of: AutoSys Scheduler Event Processor WCC (Web Client) AutoSys Agents Job definitions, calendars, variables, and dependencies Preferred Skills: Experience supporting containerized AutoSys agents. Exposure to Kubernetes/EKS environments. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise scheduling platforms. Familiarity with AutoSys cloud migration initiatives.
