Our depot keeps the local robotaxi fleet charged, clean, inspected, and ready for riders.As a Depot Operations Associate, you will move vehicles through intake, charging, cleaning, inspection, and dispatch so every car that leaves the yard is service-ready.You will:Receive vehicles into the depot and stage them for charging, cleaning, inspection, or maintenanceCharge and monitor electric fleet vehicles and report charger or battery issuesComplete interior and exterior readiness (clean, restock, inspect cabin and sensors)Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks using Waymo depot tools and checklistsTroubleshoot routine vehicle, charging, and depot-equipment issues and escalate what cannot be resolved on the floorManually move vehicles in the yard and on short off-site transfers when requiredFlag damage, sensor issues, warning lights, and safety concerns to technicians and leadsDocument work in the fleet system so vehicle status is accurate in real timeFollow high-voltage, pedestrian, and yard-safety procedures at all timesSupport surge periods (events, weather, and peak demand) with fast, safe turnaroundPartner with technicians, dispatch, and city operations to keep fleet availability highYou have:A valid drivers license and a clean driving recordStrong technical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose basic vehicle, charging, and equipment issues and follow a structured problem-solving processAbility to work on-site in a depot environment (standing, walking, light lifting, indoor/outdoor, and variable weather)Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating shiftBasic computer skills and willingness to learn fleet softwareStrong attention to detail and a safety-first mindsetNice to have:Experience in fleet, rental, car wash, warehouse, aviation ramp, or automotive serviceEV charging or high-voltage awareness trainingBilingual skills relevant to the local marketPrior work in a 24/7 operations environmentWhat success looks likeVehicles leave the depot clean, charged, inspected, and on time. Issues are identified, troubleshot, and logged the first time theyre seen.
