The Elderly Care Law Firm is seeking a passionate Veterans Benefits Attorney to join their remote team in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on advocating for veterans' rights and managing vital claims with the VA, while also providing guidance and mentorship to a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

  • Advocate for veterans' benefits by leading claims before the VA
  • Assist with webinars, outreach initiatives, and marketing efforts to support veterans
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to paralegals and law clerks
  • Engage in BVA hearings and prepare appeals for the Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity

Required skills

  • VA accreditation
  • Participation in BVA hearings
  • Licensed attorney in any state in the US (preference for Florida Bar membership)
  • Passion for VA law and veterans benefits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

What the company offers
