Job Description: Our client, a respected law firm specializing in legal recoveries and creditors' rights, is seeking an Attorney to join its Virginia Beach, Virginia team. This is a hybrid position, with attorneys working three days per week in the office and two days remotely. Key Responsibilities Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents. Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable outcomes for clients. Primarily review and sign legal pleadings and court filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and court requirements. Collaborate with paralegals, legal staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the courts to efficiently move cases forward. Maintain organized case files while meeting court deadlines and firm procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning legal technology platforms. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.Preferred Experience Background in civil litigation, commercial litigation, creditors' rights, debt recovery, or financial services. Courtroom experience, including hearings, motions, and settlement negotiations.
