Overview

Ried Physical Therapy is seeking a Licensed Athletic Trainer to join their award-winning, one-on-one physical therapy clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves assessing patient health, implementing treatment plans, and providing patient education to enhance wellness and health maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Contributes to physical therapists' effectiveness by identifying patient care issues and recommending options
  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
  • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual therapy and exercises
  • Instructs and counsels patients on therapeutic regimens and wellness
  • Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations
  • Maintains production objectives by monitoring treatment trends and services rendered
  • Adheres to legal and accreditation compliance regarding federal, state, and local regulations
  • Updates job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional organizations
  • Engages in marketing efforts as needed

Required skills

  • Experience in athletic training or a related field with a focus on manual therapy
  • Ability to assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
