Overview

The Associate Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency will play a crucial role in the establishment and development of a new residency program within a growing academic health system in Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to curriculum design, accreditation processes, and resident education.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Program Director with ACGME accreditation materials
  • Participate in curriculum design and continuous improvement
  • Supervise, teach, and mentor residents
  • Contribute to resident evaluation and milestone assessment
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of residents
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME and institutional policies
  • Engage in scholarly activity and quality improvement
