Overview

The Associate Pastor at Crossroads Church, in partnership with MinistryHub, will lead a campus under the guidance of the Campus Pastor, focusing on community engagement and pastoral care. This role requires a devoted follower of Christ who exhibits integrity, warmth, and the ability to inspire teams while providing spiritual guidance and teaching.

Key responsibilities

  • Embrace and replicate Crossroads' culture at the campus level
  • Provide pastoral care, including hospital visits, weddings, and crisis response
  • Lead and teach at weekly worship services, preparing and delivering sermons
  • Oversee the orientation and development of campus staff
  • Cultivate volunteer leadership and support training initiatives
  • Implement new ministry initiatives to reach the campus community
  • Ensure excellent campus operations, including facilities and Sunday readiness

Required skills

  • Effective communication and teaching
  • High emotional intelligence and strong relational capacity
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Constructive biblical conflict resolution
  • Technological proficiency with church database systems and collaboration tools
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Seminary Degree preferred
  • At least five years of Christian ministry experience
  • Experience leading staff or volunteers in a multi-staff church environment
