Overview

The Associate II Asset Protection position at Staples, Inc. focuses on maintaining workplace security and safety across multiple fulfillment centers. The role requires monitoring the premises, managing access, and conducting safety training while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Keep the Asset Protection Manager informed of all potential workplace security and safety issues
  • Maintain order and control of the front desk, lobby areas, and switchboard
  • Prevent internal theft by conducting scanning and bag checking of all employees and visitors
  • Monitor visitor access to ensure authorization and proper logging
  • Monitor entire property via CCTV and alarm systems to respond to incidents
  • Audit physical security platforms for functionality
  • Analyze data related to Shrink & Cargo Loss to mitigate risk
  • Monitor parking lot for unauthorized visitors or vehicles
  • Notify emergency personnel in case of emergencies
  • Assist with safety and emergency crisis drills
  • Ensure regulatory compliance measures are followed
  • Manage safety training documents and administer training sessions
  • Monitor inbound and outbound trailer activity in the yard

Required skills
