Overview

Bay Area Family Law Center is seeking an experienced Family Law attorney that can provide quality legal services to our clients. We are looking for an attorney who has a passion for helping people that are going through a divorce and sometimes dealing with domestic violence and custody issues. We're looking for an attorney who can immediately provide our clients with outstanding representation and take full responsibility for case files. You must have compassion and the ability to build relationships with our clients as well as courtroom experience.If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Review and analyze legal documents and contracts Assist in negotiating settlements and agreements Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation Collaborate with other attorneys and legal team members on case strategy and client communication Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedentsRequirements: Juris Doctorate (J.D) degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in California Minimum 2-3 year experience with all Family Law matters Strong research and analytical skills Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with legal administrative processes and procedures Knowledge of Case Management Software such as MyCase & Essential Forms Experience in legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation is preferredWe offer competitive compensation based on experience.
