Overview

The Applied Financial AI Analyst role at Steel Point Opportunities involves embedding with clients to drive AI-led workflow transformation in the finance sector. You will build AI workflows, translate client needs into platform functionalities, and provide feedback to enhance the AI platform based on client experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Embed with clients to drive AI-led workflow transformation
  • Identify opportunities for automation and augmentation with investment professionals
  • Translate client workflows into skills, agents, and connectors
  • Partner with engineering to develop new data connectors and skills

Required skills

  • 3-7 years of experience in equity research at top-tier financial institutions
  • Demonstrated track record in fundamental or quantitative research
  • Experience with hands-on AI projects and GitHub repository
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools integrated into workflows
  • Hands-on experience with financial data vendors like Bloomberg and FactSet
  • Strong communication skills to engage with senior investors and executives
