Overview

The Medicus Firm is seeking a physician leader for a full-time Anesthesiology Director role within a reputable health system in New York City. This position combines clinical work with significant administrative and quality improvement responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support departmental initiatives and EPIC optimizations
  • Conduct research and develop performance improvement trends
  • Collaborate with Anesthesia leadership and quality committees
  • Participate in staff education and informatics training

Required skills

  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Anesthesiology
  • Minimum 3 years in a hospital setting with leadership or performance improvement experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC systems and data analytics
  • Knowledge of quality documentation
  • Eligible for New York State medical license
