Overview

The Allergy/Immunology Physician at Intermountain Health in Park City, Utah, is responsible for delivering optimal patient care as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). This role encompasses patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and education while adhering to the required licensure and credentialing standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice and education.
  • Conduct patient assessments to obtain complete and accurate clinical information.
  • Order tests and exams for proper patient care.
  • Diagnose patient needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide treatment and oversee care provided by others.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare providers for patient care efforts.
  • Participate in research and utilize evidence-based practices.

Required skills

  • Current state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Eligibility for State Controlled Substance License II through V
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Applicable certification from recognized certifying organizations
  • Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
  • Manual dexterity for operating medical equipment
