Overview

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician IV A&P for their Brunswick, Georgia location. This role involves performing various aircraft maintenance tasks, including repairs and modifications, to ensure proper operation of aircraft systems. Candidates should be experienced and possess an A&P license, along with a commitment to quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of aircraft
  • Coordinate with inspection teams for compliance with FAA regulations
  • Complete work order sign-offs and shift turnovers promptly
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
  • Maintain and securely store aircraft components and customer property
  • Operate and oversee special support equipment for major component installations
  • Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives in shop maintenance
  • Coordinate aircraft movements as needed

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, mechanical)
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and quality control manuals
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
