Overview

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician 4 - A&P to perform various technical functions related to aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation maintenance and work within a culture that emphasizes trust, respect, and integrity, driving the mission of providing the finest aviation experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of aircraft.
  • Coordinate with inspections to ensure compliance with FAA requirements.
  • Complete work order sign-offs and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Properly tag and store customer property and equipment.
  • Operate ground support equipment and oversee special support equipment usage.
  • Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives in work areas.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, or mechanical).
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance procedures and technical reference materials.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
